Welcome, wanderer!

I am so pleased to introduce you to my little passion project, Amber Firelight , which has been in progress since the summer of 2025. Crazy how it's already been that long! This fantasy-esque novel aims to encapsulate many-a-theme -- honesty, compassion, vengenace, the list goes on -- within worldshaping geopolitical and interpersonal conflict, all originating from one miniscule job that they never should have taken. Their mistakes will lead them across the continent of Tiquiria, through tranquil mountain passes and roiling battlefields, over land and over sea, in search of atonement, survival, and ultimately, freedom.

With that little synopsis out of the way, I would like to share a little bit of Amber Firelight 's history. This whole project started as, admittedly, a grade-school English narrative assignment that a very close friend of mine thought had potential -- something they were very right on, I would reckon! From there, Amber Firelight 's first nine chapters were published month-by-month in said school's student newspaper. Over the course of its growth, much has changed -- most notably my writing skill ^_~ -- but within it all remains this publishing style that involves readers and creators, like my amazing artist friend Maya and, of course, Fiona (my website savior!!) in the process. In this sense AmbFL (I can't write it out every time!) is a very grassroots sort of project -- it would not be as alive if not for readers like you!
